By Indians, for Indians. Built with AI.
What this is, what it is not, and who is behind it.
A free, public reading of the electoral rolls that the Election Commission of India and the state Chief Electoral Officers publish. You can search the roll by name, explore the electorate of any state down to a single polling booth, and ask the engine to identify one particular person and place them among their household and family.
It is not a government service, it is not affiliated with the Election Commission or any state CEO, and it produces no identity document, address proof or certificate. It cannot change anything on the roll: additions, deletions and corrections are made by the Commission and the state CEOs through their own process, and this site has no part in it.
Finding a name is easy. Telling one person from the thousands who share it is the whole problem, and that is where the reasoning goes. The engine measures how common a name actually is on the register before it weighs any evidence, scores every candidate against what you supplied, and publishes the arithmetic for the one it chooses, edge by edge.
It is also built to refuse. Where the register cannot separate two people of the same name it says so and names the rival rather than picking one; where a search failed it reports a gap rather than an absence; and where an identification rests on a guess it declines to draw a family around it. A confident wrong answer about who a person is does more damage than no answer, and most of the engineering here is spent on that.
No model touches the roll search. What you type reaches the register as typed, through deterministic code only, so two people asking the same question get the same answer.
Everything shown comes from rolls that are already published. Nothing on this site is private data and nothing about an individual is inferred: no elector carries a religion, caste or community label anywhere in the product. Community figures describe an area, are read from surnames, and are never attached to a named person; the surname table behind them is published in full so it can be checked and argued with.
